Michigan Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorneys

Planning for the Future … Dealing with the Present

No one can predict the future with precision. At the Nawrocki Center for Elder and Family Law, however, we can help families and individuals plan for likely future needs through estate planning, probate avoidance, Medicare and Medicaid planning and special needs planning. Our family and elder law attorneys also deal with immediate needs such as divorce, abuse and other elder law matters that must be handled today. For experienced guidance, contact the Nawrocki Center to schedule an initial consultation: (866) 737-5007.

Our practice is centered on assisting individuals and families with the following:

At the Nawrocki Center, you will always find someone you can talk to — someone who cares what happens to you and your family. We have built a people-focused law firm that goes beyond what most law firms do for their clients. In addition to offering professional legal counsel from experienced family and elder law attorneys, we offer other supportive services, such as assisting families with arranging in-home care or nursing home care when the need arises.

  • Tip of the Week:

Medicare benefits are available to enrolled individuals who are admitted to a nursing home but benefits are conditioned on a number of factors and no coverage is guaranteed. Full coverage is limited to 20 days and only pays if you are admitted following a three day hospital stay, or within 30 days of such a stay and skilled nursing requirements are required. Medicare will not pay for intermediate or custodial care.

Is Nursing Home Care Inevitable?

Our firm offers clients The Michigan Nursing Home Guide to help clients preparing to place a loved one in a retirement community or nursing home. This guide will help you learn how to find the right nursing home, how to get good care there and how to pay for it without going broke. This guide also provides information about Medicaid planning and division of assets. Our law firm offers this guide free as a courtesy to clients. For a free copy of the guide, call our Brighton law office today: (866) 737-5007.
